Case study / Client account
A client in hosting and infrastructure.
This is a client we do the link building for. We buy its links through the platform like any member: the publisher's price at cost, plus the placement fee. We keep its name private, so the sites in our network stay private too.
Snapshot of our records on 23 October 2026. Not a live feed.
Settled placements bought through the platform.
Every link is checked at least weekly.
At cost, over the links bought. Plus our placement fee on each.
The rest of the ledger
15 links, each on a different site.
One link was lost within twelve months of going live. It falls under our replacement cover, which means it is replaced without a new placement fee.
4 more are with publishers now.
14 deals did not go ahead. Each reservation went straight back to the wallet, so a deal that falls through costs nothing.

Bought before the platform
Before Linkpreneur existed, this brand bought 48 links by email. We imported them so the link guard checks them as well. They were not bought through the platform, so none of the figures above include them.
A snapshot of our own records on 23 October 2026. The figures do not change until we take a new snapshot.
Placed means settled: bought through the platform, verified on the live page and paid. Older imported links and work in progress are counted separately.
Live, at risk and lost are the latest results of our link checks, which run at least weekly.
An average price is only printed over four links or more. A single price beside a brand would be one publisher's rate.
No brand, publisher or page is named or linked, and no date says when a link went live.
We report links and prices only; a page's position depends on far more than one link.
