Why we contacted you

You are here because we emailed you
We approach owners of websites about placing a link in an existing article, and we pay for it. If you have had a message from us and wondered how we got your address, this page is the answer.
Who we are
Linkpreneur is a trading name of R.B. Projecten B.V., Slenterweg 3, 6905 DM Zevenaar, The Netherlands. Chamber of Commerce 59974907, VAT NL853716833B01. Reply to any message from us and it reaches a person.
What we hold
The website you run, an email address, and a name where the site publishes one. If we have corresponded, the messages themselves. Nothing else: we do not buy contact lists, we do not enrich what we have with data from other sources, and we do not build a profile of you.
Where we got it
From your own website, or from a public register such as a domain record. We do not guess addresses from a name-and-domain pattern, and we do not take addresses from sites whose terms forbid it.
Why we may do this
Legitimate interest: approaching a business about a business proposition that concerns what that business publicly does. You can object at any time and we act on it without asking why.
How long we keep it
While the site is a candidate for placements, and for two years after our last contact. If you tell us not to contact you, we keep the minimum needed to remember that, which is the address and the fact itself, and nothing else. That record is permanent on purpose: forgetting it entirely is how somebody gets approached again.
How to stop hearing from us
Reply with a single word. Anything that reads as no is treated as no, permanently, and it applies to every address on your domain rather than only the one we wrote to. You can also complain to your data protection authority.
